Her mother's real/traditional name is Anna. Her paternal grandmother was a Byzantine princess (SERIOUSLY), and cursory research suggests that Anna was also a ridiculously common name for those. So: Annuska, which is a Hungarian diminutive of Anna, and is pronounced roughly like "Anoushka".
(Which was mildly creepy when I discovered that Norah Jones has a sister named Anoushka, but I digress.)

One of Annuska's favorite names, right after Vercingetorix, is Csilla which is Hungarian for "star". Why Sagramore didn't just name her that to BEGIN with, we have no idea. But there you go.

Things in Annuska's neck of the multiverse tend to work on a don't-ask-don't-tell basis. You go to look for something, and there it is. You leave mail lying around with an address, or at least a name, ignore it for a while, and somehow it vanishes, and shows up again in the intended place, if you're lucky.

Annuska has decided that the Othermansion is omgwtf boring, and has taken to hiding in the Nexus instead, where things are equally omgwtf, but seldom boring.

Besides, it has a better library.

She is currently squnched into an overstuffed armchair in the said library, with a can of Diet Coke beside her (weird stuff, but it was the first machine she found that would take her pfennigs, or farthings, or whatever the hell those are) and reading Christine de Pisan. Because she's like that.
